Homemade Salsa Made Simple

It doesn't get much simpler than home made salsa. I washed fresh greens from the garden, topped them with grilled steak & then piled on the salsa & guacamole.  It is probably my favorite meal. 

3 tomatoes
2 jalapeƱo peppers
2 large cloves of garlic
1 onion sliced

Broil for 6 minutes.  Remove garlic cloves from pan. Turn others over and allow the other side to broil. Remove from the oven & cool for a few minutes.  Peel the skin off the peppers & tomatoes.  Grind in either a mortar & pestle or in a food processor. 

You can also add a few scoops of fresh salsa to mashed avocado & lime juice to jazz up your guacamole. ENJOY!
