On Traveling Lightly

If I were to think back to a specific instance in my life when I felt utterly exhausted, it would have to be while traveling with small children. Before becoming a parent, traveling was always such an adventure. Curling up with a good book for hours on end, watching the clouds float by, and enjoying every aspect of vacation.

Traveling with small children can be quite the opposite, especially if you find yourself lugging suitcases & diaper bags through the airport with a baby strapped to your chest, or pushing a toddler in the stroller, all the while running out of patience because you can’t handle one. more. thing. I think we’ve all had moments like that when it’s just too much.

However, if you are waking up most days feeling like you don’t have the energy or patience for one. more. thing. then that’s a symptom of something greater.

It’s your bodies way of telling you that something
is out of balance.

Exhaustion is an insidious and often unrelenting hole that you can fall into without ever realizing how you got there. Functioning under exhaustion then becomes modus operandi, or the mode in which you operate on a daily basis.

But if you could take a step back and truly see it for what it is, you would realize that exhaustion changes everything — from how you feel about yourself, to the energy and patience you have for the people you love the most.

But what if I told you there's a scientific explanation for this kind of cellular exhaustion, and there's also specific things that can help increase energy?

Intuitive Nutrition was designed to help you hone in on what’s most essential, giving you the specific nutrients needed to build energy on a cellular level.

As the kids have gotten older, traveling has become so much easier. Mostly because we’ve learned to travel lightly. To pack only what’s essential, and make it easy enough so that everyone can carry their own load.

Daily life is a lot like traveling. You have to keep it simple. To bring only what is most important. To pack lightly.

You have to focus on what truly matters.

You can’t expect to carry around all your baggage every day and thrive. It’s too heavy, it’s too much, and it’s too exhausting. And it doesn’t have to be that way. It’s time to start enjoying the journey, and traveling lightly. It’s time to learn the essentials you need every day to thrive.
